The smallest I have tried is printing at 50% scale, which resulted in uppercase letters that were 3 inches high. This does result in some tiny pieces but it is doable! (For the pictured top I used 8 fat eighths, with fabric to spare.)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFabric requirements for the baby quilt are all of the above, plus:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Background, 1 1\/4 yards\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Backing , 3 yards\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Binding, 3\/8 of a yard\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese letters are scrap and jelly roll friendly. You can also use individual letters to make stockings, personalized quilts, or spell out your own words and messages! Note that this pattern assumes that you are confident with foundation paper piecing (FPP) and do not include basic instructions for this technique.
