Hello friends. New year, new things to tell you about! This week I launched a popup supplement to the regular Patch and Dot newsletter. I call it The Unblock, and it’s all about creative ideas for modern quilters. It’s for those times when you feel that urge to sit down and sew but are somehow … a little stuck. Maybe it’s quilter’s block, or maybe it’s the opposite: too many projects to choose from!
This occasional series will act as a succession of little sparks: free block patterns, inspirational color talk, fun techniques that you can try with a low time investment, using scraps that you already have on hand. None of the projects are set in stone. The idea is that you can dip your toes in creatively, and take it as far as you like. Maybe you get excited and one block leads to another. Maybe the exercise generates an entirely new idea!
If you’re already subscribed to the Patch and Dot newsletter, you automatically received the first edition on January 1 (unless you opted out when I teased the idea late last year).
If you’re not already in and it sounds like something you’d like to check out, sign up here. (The series starts at the beginning for every new subscriber, and you can unsubscribe at any time.)
