February sewing was definitely all about hearts around here. My main finish of the month was these cushions I made using individual blocks from Megan CollinsLove and Stitches pattern. I love the design of these blocks, and how quickly they came together!

I’m also doing a thing this year wherein I try to not sit on all the good fabric for the rest of my life, so in that spirit I used some favourite Ruby Star Society prints for the backs.

Next up, an “almost finished” … my I Heart You quilt came back from long arming and I’m getting ready to bind it. (Was hoping to have it done by Valentine’s Day but if there’s one thing I’ve learned this year it’s how to let go of self-imposed deadlines.) I love this pattern by Pen + Paper Patterns and had originally planned to keep this one for myself, but now that I have it back it seems like it would be the perfect gift for someone I know, so now I’m dreaming up a colour scheme for a second one.

There was a mini-finish too. I shared this in the newsletter back on Valentine’s Day but I’m really pleased to have worked my Planting Seeds block into this little wall hanging. I’m getting to the point where I almost have enough minis for a proper mini wall.

Finally – and this is the project I am most excited about – March means the release of Golightly is almost here! The gingham number below is just one of three versions that come with this pattern, and I can’t wait to share more about it with you in the coming weeks.
