No new quilt finishes this week, but I took a free mini course on quilt photography by Shelly at Ma Tante Quilting, and thought I’d share my practice photos. Photography is something I struggle with and I found Shelly’s teaching really inspiring in a ‘wait maybe I *can* do this’ kind of way! (She also has a free tip sheet that I found very helpful, highly recommend both if improving your quilt photos is on your to do list.)
These shots are all of the Ribbon Letters quilt, which is a traditionally pieced/patchwork pattern. No templates or paper piecing involved! (Pattern here.)
p.s. Fabrics used in the blocks are all Kona Cotton Solids, with a Kona Ballet Slipper background and pink floral Liberty quilting cotton for the binding. That pattern link again is here.
