I am actually squeaking in a finish for Me Made May! Does it matter that I made it for a gift? I am going to count it anyway. This was my first time sewing a Wiksten tank top. I am still very much a beginner when it comes to sewing garments, and this pattern was a total win for me. No button holes (my Achilles heel … nothing like almost finishing a shirt then ruining it by botching a button hole)! Very easy to follow instructions with beautiful photographs. And best of all, this pattern is written for French seams, very key if like me you don’t have a serger and don’t love finishing raw edges any other way.

You’ll notice I left the pocket off, but I plan to make at least one of these for myself and will definitely include it next time. Without reservation I recommend this pattern for beginners.
