Did you happen to catch the round up of FPP alphabet quilt stockings I posted over on Instagram? Between that inspiration and the early snow cover we’ve got going here in Ontario, I’m super in the mood for Christmas crafting, so I thought I’d put together a quick post to share a few of my favourite quilted stocking + alphabet pattern combos.
The list:
- Lowercase Blackletter + Patchwork & Poodles free stocking pattern (the small version, pictured above)
- This really sweet combo by @gilly.quilts which takes a scaled down lowercase blackletter initial and places it inside the star of Piece Fabric Co.’s pattern – click here for the free tutorial
- Ribbon Letters + Sunny Day Supply free stocking template (pictured below, by @rosebudandpenny)
… and finally, not yet tested but the combo I’m planning on trying out this year: an Uppercase initial + plus one of these sweet chunky mini stockings by Ma and Me Designs (stay tuned for pictures … although this one will be a gift so I may not post until after Christmas).
